Queensland Rugby League has today announced the Queensland Under 17 City and Queensland Under 17 Country squads for the representative boys and girls clashes to be played at the Logan Metro Sports Complex this month.
The September 23 match will feature some of the game’s best male and female talent from the QRL’s statewide competitions.
Fans with a keen interest in following Queensland’s emerging stars have a lot to get enthusiastic about, with the boys’ match to get underway at 1.15pm after the Queensland Under 17 City versus Country girls’ clash at 11:30am.
All Queensland squads will enter camp on the Gold Coast on September 18 to begin preparations for the annual clash.

For the Country squad, Antonio Kaufusi returns to the head coaching role after guiding last year’s team to a strong 38-20 victory.

The City girls team will be coached by Ana Fotu, a passionate rugby league coach and volunteer who has made an immense contribution to the Pine Central Holy Spirit club.
Central Queensland’s Amanda Ohl is back to guide the fortunes of the Country team, which is looking to turn the tables after City’s impressive win in 2022.
Western Clydesdales Football Operations Manager, Mitchell Sargent will support the Country side as an Assistant Coach for the 2023 program.
