2023 ANZAC Jersey and Silent Auction Information

Western Clydesdales ANZAC Playing Jersey - No. 1

HOSTPLUS ROUND 6 VS BRISBANE TIGERS - SUNDAY 23RD APRIL 2023

The Western Clydesdales are proud to commemorate the ANZAC legacy and sacrifice for Australia and New Zealand. Our ANZAC jersey represents the Club's commitment to the region's military history and will be worn during the away match against the Tigers in the Hostplus Cup ANZAC Round.

The Spirit of ANZAC was suggested by official war historian C.E.W. Bean to have "stood, and still stands, for reckless valour in a good cause, for enterprise, resourcefulness, fidelity, comradeship and endurance that will never own defeat."

This jersey design honours the ANZAC spirit and provides a local flavour with the image of Tabletop Mountain. Many men and women from the Toowoomba and South-West region have fought for their country and the Western Clydesdales are proud to honor their service.

The match-worn jerseys can be yours to own with the Club holding a silent auction with the funds going to our South-West Queensland Pathways programs. The boys and girls of the region now have a strong pathway to follow from U13s to the Hostplus Cup and the BMD Permiership and then to the NRL and NRLW with the Bulldogs.

The silent auction is hosted by GalaBid and runs from Friday 14th April and closes at 9:00pm on Monday 24th April. Winners will be contacted on Tuesday 25th April and advertised on the Western Clydesdales website that same day.
