Country claim double in the U17s City vs Country Clashes

Queensland Under 17 Country Boys snatched victory with a late field goal to defeat a persistent Queensland Under 17 City Boys side at Logan Metro Sports Complex on Saturday. The finals score was 13 - 12.

The victory followed on from the Queensland Under 17 Country Girls' last minute 24-20 win just hours earlier.

Strong performances from all seven Western Clydesdales representatives across the day with Player of the Match honours going to Clydesdales duo, Chloe Pallisier and Bodhi Sharpley.

Congratulations to Country Girls Assistant Coach and Western Clydesdales Football Operations Manager, Mitch Sargent on a successful camp and result.
