Captain Darryn Schonig Awarded Inaugural Don Saunders Medal at Western Clydesdales Awards Night

Toowoomba, 28th August 2023 – In a night filled with celebration, camaraderie, and nostalgia, the Western Clydesdales Rugby League Football Club held its highly anticipated Awards Night at The Royal Hotel in Toowoomba on Monday night, 28th August 2023. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the inaugural Don Saunders Medal, named after the legendary Clydesdales Player #1 and captain of the 1996 Queensland Cup Premiers, to current captain Darryn Schonig.

2024 Western Clydesdales - U17 Female Development Challenge - Testing & ID Session - October 4

As the U17 girls have been included in the schedule, the Western Clydesdales RLFC are currently seeking expressions of interest of age eligible girls who aspire to be selected in the U17 girls' squad, to attend a Testing & ID session on Wednesday 4th October which will be conducted by the Western Clydesdales football staff.
